Classes Begin Sept. 2024

Youth Theater

Strong Ones Productions is developing the next generation of Atlanta's most talented kids. Our classes offer youth ages 8-18 an introduction to on stage performance and exposure to various careers available in the theater industry. We navigate the world of acting in this twelve -week acting intensive. Youth will expand their portfolio, review a range of acting styles in ensemble-building activities. practice techniques through various workshops, and learn tips and tricks on how to create their own polished scenes and performances. At the end of the intensive, we will conclude with a collective show for family, friends and community where youth will shine on stage! Auditions To Be Announced..

Acting Techniques

Important acting skills, such as voice projection, crying on command, learning accents, and staging falls and fights without getting hurt.

Rehearsals

Analyzing scripts, building a character, what to expect from rehearsals, and overcoming stagefright.

Tech in Theater

A backstage look at blocking, lighting, and other technical aspects of theater production.

Auditions

Monologue practice and how to properly audition. Tips on headshots, resume', agents and how to land roles in theater.

Critical Acting Skills

Being able to understand and interpret a script.
Being able to memorize lines.
Being able to deliver lines convincingly.
Knowing how to use your voice to project emotion.
Being able to understand and connect with your audience.

Performances

In addition to the acting intensive, students have the opportunity to implement what they have learned in the twelve week intensive with a live performance.
